The Shadow curriculum project

About the project

The Shadow Curriculum project is a follow-up project to the Inclusive Curriculum Project by students at the UCL Department of Political Science. The aim of the project is threefold:

Firstly, based on the findings of the Inclusive Curriculum Project to ascertain whether students are content with the diversity of their current curriculum, and what kinds of changes they would like to see based on focus group research.

Secondly, to design a range of prototype modules with the aim of filling the perceived gaps in the curriculum based on student input.

Thirdly, to create an annotated reading list with diverse readings both in terms of author identity and topic as a resource for module tutors in their quest to diversify their own modules.
