Lunch and Learn launch

The established Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee in the School of Public Policy invited The Inclusive Curriculum Project to launch their new Lunch and Learn series. The aim of these events is to facilitate student-led discussion, allowing students to explore their intellectual curiosities outside of the classroom.

The launch featured The Inclusive Curriculum Project presenting the work carried out alongside the research findings to much interest of those present. The session was attended by both students and academics, including Head of Department and Professor of Political Behaviour, Professor Jennifer Hudson. Attendees contributed to a healthy discussion about decolonising and diversifying curricula and reading lists, as well as a broader conversation about what decolonising Political Science means in practice.

We are grateful to the EDI Committee and Student Representatives for inviting us to present our work and look forward to taking part in future sessions, with more fruitful conversation!
